I have sensitive skin. Are your products safe to use?

As a general rule of thumb, all our soaps should be safe for sensitive skin types. All of our products are handcrafted using only the freshest ingredients and contain no synthetic fragrances nor colouring agents. Our essential oils are always used at a safe limit of under 3% in order to avoid any adverse effects.

If you’re still unsure, we do have a few beautiful bars that were formulated specifically for sensitive skins. These bars omit essential oils all-together and contain additives like colloidal oatmeal and aloe vera extract which has been shown to soothe easily-irritated skin.

I see other all-natural soap makers using ingredients like oxides to colour their soaps. Oxides occur naturally, why don’t you use those?

Although oxides CAN BE 100% natural and do produce some gorgeous soap colours, the reasoning behind why we choose to stay away is because all-natural doesn’t always mean eco-friendly. Naturally occurring oxides are minerals found in the earth that have to be mined. In order to be left with a pure mineral you can use in cosmetics, it has to be heavily processed and purified to remove any unwanted heavy metals, impurities, and potentially harmful or toxic substances used during processing. The alternative is synthetically produced oxides made in a lab labeled as “man-made”or “equivalent” which actually might be better than its heavily-processed mined counterpart as it is molecularly equivalent.

You will find only natural plant and herb colorants in our soaps as we believe the earth has already provided us with ample ingredients to create beautiful colours without the hassle of having to synthetically produce more.

Do you test on animals?
We are a cruelty-free facility and not a single product has or will ever be tested on animals.

Are your products vegan?
All of our products are currently free of animal and animal-derived products.

What is the shelf-life of bar soap?

It is best to use products within 12 months of receiving them for the freshest experience! Scents from essential oils tend to fade and natural colorants may change over time. They are expected to be good for up to 2 years if stored in a cool, dry, place until use. Our bars contain no chemical preservatives so light, heat, and humidity may affect the product’s shelf-life.

How to edit my order after it has been placed?

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to edit an order after it has been made. However please feel free to contact us here and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you offer wholesale?

Refunds and Exchanges

We do not offer refunds or exchanges at this time. All sales are final.

How long will my order take to process?
Processing time is between 2-3 days.

Processed orders will be shipped out every Tuesday!

How long will shipping be?
Currently, items are being shipped via Canada Post. Once it is in their hands, any delays are out of my control. Here are the average shipping days you can expect:

Ontario and Quebec: 1-3 days

Rest of Canada: 5-7 days
